dam another talented wrestler die's"

Eki[5] "Eddie" Fatu (March 28, 1973 – December 4, 2009)[2][4] was a Samoan-American professional wrestler better known by his ring name Umaga. He was best known for his time with World Wrestling Entertainment, where he was a two-time Intercontinental Champion.

He was a member of the Anoa'i wrestling family and frequently worked as a part of a tag team – variously named The Island Boyz, the Samoan Gangstas, and 3-Minute Warning – with his cousin Matt Anoa'i. During Fatu's first stint with WWE, he was known as Jamal and Matt was billed as Rosey. In late 2005, Fatu returned to WWE. Repackaged under the ring name "Umaga", Fatu went undefeated for many months on WWE's Raw brand throughout much of 2006, before suffering his first defeat under the Umaga name in January of 2007. Known by his many nicknames, including "The Samoan Bulldozer" and "The Samoan Savage", Fatu died on December 4, 2009, as a result of a heart attack. The former wrestler, known to fans as Umaga, died Friday after suffering a heart attack, CNN reports. The 36-year-old's wife reportedly found him unconscious with blood coming out of his nose. He was rushed to a hospital in Houston, Tx, but was pronounced dead at around 6:00 pm EST.

In 2007, The News reported that Fatu was one of many superstars who bought prescription drugs from an online pharmacy, which violated the same WWE "Talent Wellness" program. The wrestler had purchased a growth hormone called somatropin in the months following a WWE rule was instituted stating no drugs from online sources.

Fatu was the cousin of Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, and a member of the Anoa'I wrestling family. He was nicknamed the Samoan Bulldozer for his powerful technique and won the WWE Intercontinental title two times. But despite his stellar performances, Umaga was fired by the WWE this summer for once again violating the Wellness Program by not entering rehab.

On its official website, the WWE expressed "its deepest condolences to Mr. Fatu's family, friends and fans on his tragic passing."

Fatu had just completed a wrestling tour of Australia alongside WWE legend Hulk Hogan when he passed away.

THE FLAVOR FLAV INTERVIEW

interviews with some of the stars and performers of HHH — which will be well worth your time tonight. We bring you those interviews here.

My ass kissing of the world’s most renown rapper continues. First DMX, then SSSC, and now the man himself, Flava Flav. After the usual opening “What’s your secret to looking great?” formalities, we get to the real meat of Flav: His gigantic clocklace. Michelle: Flavor, two seconds my love. First of all, you look fantastic.
Flavor Flav: Thank you, thank you.
Michelle: How many degrees hot are you right now? It’s boiling.
Flavor Flav: Whoa! I’m like 80o hot.
Michelle: I think you need to take that velveteen coat off. Is what I think. You need to be comfortable.
Flavor Flav: Skulls and bones – this is Adolfo, baby. You don’t take off Adolfo.
Michelle: [laughs] It’s looking good.
Flavor Flav: You don’t take off your Adolfo. Adolfo is the – that’s it right now. Michelle: That’s it. Tell me something: How annoying is Daylight Savings Time for you?
Flavor Flav: I don’t pay no attention to it.
Michelle: Love it.
Flavor Flav: Long as I live.
Michelle: Who resets your clocks? Do you have a guy who does that for you?
Flavor Flav: I do it myself!
Michelle: You do it yourself?
Flavor Flav: If you want something done right!
Michelle: What channel is your talk show going to be on?
Flavor Flav: Um, we’re trying to find a home for it now. So that’s in the works.
Michelle: What about VH1?
Flavor Flav: No, VH1 – I’ve been on VH1. I blew VH1 up. You know what I’m sayin’? I brought in 7,500,000 viewers.* (*Ed. Note: No idea if this is true.)
Michelle: Get out.
Flavor Flav: Nobody ever broke my record yet! So Flavor Flav still stands number one on VH1.
Michelle: Thank you, Flavor.

Flavor Flav going back to school in new show 50-year-old rapper has no high school diploma, wants to make mom proud

BURBANK, Calif. - Flavor Flav is heading back to high school to get his diploma, and he’s inviting the reality TV cameras to follow him.

Ripping a page from Rodney Dangerfield’s play book, the Public Enemy rapper and alumnus of several VH1 reality shows will be teaming up with Michael Hirschorn’s Ish Entertainment and Eric Ortner Productions to produce the new strip. Ortner is a former senior producer for NBC’s “Weekend Today” show and ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

Flav, 50, (real name: William Jonathan Drayton Jr.), who dropped out of high school in the 10th grade and has suffered through life because of it, told Access in a recent interview that he is returning to the classroom to make his family proud. “Honestly, to tell you the truth, I don’t have my diploma, and years later, down the line, I felt that it was an embarrassing situation that I wanted to fix,” Flav said. “I wanted to make my mother happy — my sisters both have their diplomas and I don’t yet. And so I want to make my mom smile and make her proud while she’s still alive.”

Flav adds that he’s ready to use the reality TV platform to serve as a role model.

“I want to use this show as an example that it’s never too late to go back. I want to use this show as a tool to show kids who are already in school to get your diploma while you’re there. There are a lot of things that you can’t do in your life without your diploma. I want to go back and fix it now. I want this to be influential on kids.”

Flav says that fans will see a much more serious side of him — that he will be showing fans the “William Drayton side of him” in this new show.

“You’re definitely going to see a much more serious and deep side of William Drayton, who’s the person that created the character of Flav,” he said. “And now I want fans to see the real serious, parental and mentor side of me — the William Drayton side. I’m going to be much more in mentor mode.”

But don’t expect his new show to be all about the books.

“There will definitely be some wackiness too!” Flav said. “I’m going out for the band, and the basketball team, and the football team. I’m still gonna keep Flavor Flav the man around! If the football team is losing the game, I’m gonna put on a jersey, and I’m gonna go out there and win the game for my school!” Flav sighted his own participation in music programs as being the saving grace of his eventual career trajectory, but also, the reason why he didn’t originally graduate.

“I play 14 different instruments,” he explained. “Another reason why I don’t have my diploma though is because I cut classes hanging out in the band room. But on this show, you’re definitely gonna see me out there as the drum major leading the band.”

Finally, Flav sees this show as the chance for a new direction for reality TV — one that’s focusing on positive results.

“I think right now the direction of reality TV needs to change. I started out the trend for the dating shows on reality TV. My heart is saddened about the murder that happened within the course of that. I am going to change the course of things. People want something more right now; they want something smarter,” he told Access.

“So my message for kids is, ‘Get your diploma right now.’ Believe me, I had a rough life without it. There are a lot of guys on the corner right now, hustling drugs because they can’t get the jobs they want because they don’t have their diplomas,” he said.

Flavor Flav Talks About New Reality Show

Hip-Hop veteran Flavor Flav is planning on jumping back into the spotlight very soon.

In a recent interview Flavor Flav told AllHipHop.com, "I'm working on a reality show and a talk show, going back to high school. I got a talk show coming, yall ain't going to be mad at ya boy."

Flav caught the reality TV bug when he first appeared on VH1's "The Surreal Life" and then "Strange Love," which stemmed from the relationship that he formed with Brigitte Nielsen.

Later Flav would go on to start is own reality series that continued for three seasons the "Flavor of Love."

Flavor Flav's reality TV success did not come without scrutiny. The rapper turned reality star come under fire from who labeled performance a "coon act" on "a modern day minstrel show."

Flav gained his stardom with the rap group Public Enemy in the late '80s as Chuck D's hypeman.

He is known for sporting his huge trademark clock around his neck.

Exclusive: Flavor Flav talks grills, love, and married life

Our favorite '80s rapper with a sweet grill turned bizarro reality star with a big heart is none other than Flavor Flav. And we had the pleasure of chatting with him at the VH-1 Hip Hop Awards last night. The "Flavor of Love" star has gotta find a new concept as he's now off the market (sorry, ladies) with one lady and one little baby all his own. Well, his seventh baby, but that's beside the point. But before the show runs the risk of being irrelevant (never!), we asked him, what exactly does the Flavor of Love taste like? Turnips? We're guessing turnips.

He explains, "You gotta come on the show to find out! I got you though. If you want to know, come on the show."

All right, there, Flav. We'll come on the show. You gotta, um, uncancel it, though. else has an amazing grill. He says, "A lot of people in rap music -- my man, Rakewon from the Wu Tang Clan. It’s real and it’s fashionable and it’s flashy!"

Fashionable AND flashy. It's true. More celebs could use a good grill. Lookin' at you, GaGa.

So what female celebrities would he be interested in having on his show? He pauses, reflects and decides, "All of them! All of them that's hot! Everybody that's hot! But I can’t do no more 'Flavor of Love.' I'm not a single man anymore!" We know you're not, Flav. You don't have to remind us and break our hearts all over again. So, what is he up to now that he's settled down? He says, "I've got a girl and a baby at home. Right now, I'm down in Vegas doing it, baby!"

OK. We won't get into detail about what "doing it" in Vegas means to Flav, but we can make our assumptions. I'm guessing it's taking the little bundle of joy to mommy-and-me, cooking the wife romantic dinners, and a couple rounds of golf on the weekends to take the edge off. Now THAT would be a reality show I'd like to see.

remembering 9 /11

The September 11 attacks (often referred to as September 11th or 9/11) were a series of coordinated suicide attacks by Al-Qaeda upon the United States on September 11, 2001. On that morning, 19 Al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four commercial passenger jet airliners.[1][2] The hijackers intentionally crashed two of the airliners into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, killing everyone on board and many others working in the buildings. Both buildings collapsed within two hours, destroying nearby buildings and damaging others. The hijackers crashed a third airliner into the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. The fourth plane crashed into a field near Shanksville in rural Pennsylvania, after some of its passengers and flight crew attempted to retake control of the plane, which the hijackers had redirected toward Washington, D.C. There were no survivors from any of the flights.

In total 2,993 people, including the hijackers, died in the attacks.[3][4] The overwhelming majority of casualties were civilians, including nationals of over 90 countries. In addition, the death of at least one person from lung disease was ruled by a medical examiner to be a result of exposure to dust from the World Trade Center's collapse.[5] The United States responded to the attacks by launching a "War on Terrorism", invading Afghanistan to depose the Taliban, who had harbored al-Qaeda terrorists, and enacting the USA PATRIOT Act. Many other countries also strengthened their anti-terrorism legislation and expanded law enforcement powers. Some American stock exchanges stayed closed for the rest of the week following the attack, and posted enormous losses upon reopening, especially in the airline and insurance industries. The destruction of billions of dollars worth of office space caused serious damage to the economy of Lower Manhattan.

The damage to the Pentagon was cleared and repaired within a year, and the Pentagon Memorial was built on the site. The rebuilding process has started on the World Trade Center site. In 2006 a new office tower was completed on the site of 7 World Trade Center. The 1 World Trade Center is currently under construction at the site and at 1,776 ft (541 m) upon completion in 2011, will become one of the tallest buildings in North America. Three more towers were originally expected to be built between 2007 and 2012 on the site.

VH1 has capitalized off of Black People

Many think of Flavor Flav as an idiot. But, Flav has done more is a six year span than most TV executives do in a lifetime. e turned a struggling TV network into a ratings powerhouse.

His shows sparked a black reality show revolution on VH1. Flavor Flav’s “Flavor of Love series spawned “I Love Network.” The series starred Tiffany “New York” Pollard. Tiffany PollardShe later went on to have her own franchise of shows. Pollard starred in such VH1 reality shows as “New York goes to Hollywood” and “New York goes to Work.”

Because of her funky attitude and her breast implants, Pollard was a favorite among viewers. Both of her shows brought in high ratings for the network.

Her “I Love New York” series opened the door for “Real Chance of Love,” starring brothers Real and Chance (Ahmad and Kamal Givens).

Real & Chance IIReal and Chance were real-life brothers who competed for the heart of New York and went on to have their own dating show.

The brothers brought charisma and energy that was only matched by Flavor Flav. This was something that VH1! had lacked in their post Flavor Flav era.

“Real Chance of Love” was another ratings success and it will be returning for a second season on August 3, 2009.

Aside from the dating shows, former popular rap duo, Salt-N-PepaThe Salt-N-Pepa Show had their own VH1 show that lasted for two seasons and will return later this year.

Gotti's WayIn addition, VH1 also granted former high-demand hip hop producer, Irv Gotti a reality show.

His series, “Gotti’s Way,” is another show that has a sizable audience. The second season finale just aired on June 23. Another season is expected later this year, or sometime next year.

VH1 has also brought in ratings with such shows as “For the Love of Ray J,” which stars R&B singer, Ray J, as he looks for love. This show will also be returning for a second season.

Terrell Owens IIRecently, NFL star, Terrell Owens, has been the star of his own show, “The T.O. Show.” The series has been another hit series for VH1 that stars a black person. Aside from that, Terrell Owens has become the face of the network.

“Charm School has been a success, due to having mostly black women on their show each season. During the first season, Mo’Nique hosted the show and it featured girls from “Flavor of Love.” The second season featured Sharon Osbourne as host and featured girls from “Rock of Love.” While the show was still successful, ratings were not as good as the first season. The third season was hosted by Ricki Lake and had girls from both “Rock of Love” and “Real Chance of Love.” VH1 used race relations to help boost the show’s ratings.

RiskyRecent “Charm School” winner, Ebony Jones, better known as Risky, is being set up for her own VH1 series. Her attitude and her personality makes her the perfect candidate for her own reality show.

“Flavor of Love 3″’s Prancer has recently appeared in some commercials and she has expressed interest in having her own show. She may have one coming soon.

While VH1 would have still had some success with “The Surreal Life,” without having the people that they have now, the network would not be half as popular as it is now. Without the black people that VH1 put on their programs, the network would not be able to maintain the ratings that they get.

I Love Money 3 Cancelled After Jenkins Death

I Love Money 3 has been cancelled by VH1, so they said in a statement.

The popular show, which has made it to its third season on the TV channel, has officially been cancelled by the network after the events of this weekend. As most of you will know, Ryan Jenkins hung himself aged 32. He’d stood accused of killing his wife, Jasmine Fiore, 28, whom he’d married after knowing her only two days.

Jenkins had appeared on two shows for VH1, both of which were set to air this year. Firstly, there was Megan Wants a Millionaire, which was pulled after fans had started getting into the show. Then there’s the upcoming show, I Love Money 3. The show really had to be pulled for reasons of taste. It would have gotten them views like WHAT, but it also would have been creepy as heck to have to watch Jenkins on the show week after week.

Vh1 has issued the following statement today: “We’re sad to announce that the fate of both Megan Wants a Millionaire and I Love Money 3 have been determined: both have been canceled and will not make it to air.”

From what I heard on TMZ Live, Jenkins was featured heavily on I Love Money 3 and was often heard talking about Fiore and his love for her. That would have made it double creepy. Megan Wants… being cancelled was a good call. I Love Money 3 being pulled is even better, as it shows that unlike a lot of networks, VH1 have at least some class and for now are letting the police do their job and letting the families have a little more peace than they would otherwise.

Flavor Flav signals death of autotune LOL

You may know him from VH1's reality tv show, Flavor of Love but most remember him from his days as the hype man for one of hip-hop's most impactful groups, Public Enemy.

Flavor Flav is back with a new track rivaling Jay-Z's 'death of auto-tune' with his own 'I'll never let you go'.

Be on the lookout for Flavor Flav to make a video for this mockery of a song. If this is not proof that the auto-tune has to be laid to rest then I am not sure it will ever leave us.

Who is Flav singing to by the way, maybe it's New York, or Hoopz, or better yet Thing 1 or 2 or his baby mother whichever one won the show. Check out the track.

Michael Jackson dead at age 50.

LOS ANGELES: Pop icon Michael Jackson has died, a Los Angeles County Coroner's office spokesman confirmed on Thursday. ( Watch

Lieutenant Fred Corral said Jackson, 50, was pronounced dead at 2:26 pm (2126 GMT) local time after reportedly suffering a cardiac arrest. ( Watch )

"I can tell you at this time that we were notified by West Los Angeles Police Department detectives that Mr Jackson was transported ... to the hospital, and upon admitting, he was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at approximately 2:26 this afternoon," Corral said.

Corral said an autopsy would "most likely" be carried out on Friday but would not speculate on the exact cause of death. ( Watch )

"Everything is still ongoing. We will be responding to the hospital to move Mr Jackson to our facility where he will be examined to determine the cause of death," Corral said. ( Watch )

"As far as I'm aware, we were notified by LAPD detectives that Mr Jackson was brought in by paramedics to the hospital in full cardiac arrest and then he was later pronounced dead."

"At that point, as I said, there's no further medical history until we get and review the medical records."

Tears flowed outside a hospital as hundreds of Michael Jackson fans gathered to mourn the loss of the music legend, stunned by his sudden death at the age of 50.

"Right today I can't believe we might have lost the best entertainer this world has ever seen," sobbed Lana Brown, 49, from Dallas, overcome with emotion as she struggled to come to terms with the news.

Brown, who described herself "as the biggest Jackson fan ever" was on holiday with her family in Los Angeles when her friend phoned to tell her that Jackson had collapsed and was being treated at the UCLA hospital.

Like hundreds of others, she made her way to the hospital, hoping against hope that Jackson, whose music and dance thrilled generations of fans, would pull through.

"I left my office. Everyone should. It's so shocking. Because you think someone like Michael Jackson will live forever, like Peter Pan," Yoshiko Plair, clasping a sunflower for her icon, said.

The 49-year-old real estate agent heard the news, like so many others, via a text message on her phone when she was in the bank.

Dropping her business, she rushed home, put on her "Thriller" T-shirt and hustled her sister and two children to the hospital to stand vigil.

"He changed music, he's the reason all that black music is on MTV now," Plair said. "I followed him from that first song. I'm going to mourn him today and probably for the rest of my life."

She added she was going to stay until the hospital officially announced Jackson's death. "I want to hear with my own ears, I can't believe it until I hear it myself.

Student Ashley Leon, 20, also decided to come after hearing of the news of Jackson's collapse.

"I called my room mate who is the extreme Michael Jackson fan because, you know, this is one of the biggest things we'll live through in our lives. We all grew up with his music."

The crowd swelled through the afternoon in the bright summer sunshine waiting for news of their hero.

And most of them brushed off the past scandals that had blighted Jackson's life, after he was charged with and then acquitted of child-molestation.

"You know Michael Jackson has his stuff going on. You knew he's crazy. But he's Michael Jackson," said Leon.

While Brown was more emphatic saying: "All of that did not matter to me because I knew it wasn't true."

Jackson was preparing to make a keenly anticipated concert comeback in London, his first series of shows in more than a decade and the first since his 2005 acquittal on child molestation charges.

However those concerts -- billed as the "final curtain" -- had been thrown into doubt after Jackson pushed back the opening dates last month.

Organizers of the concerts at the time stressed the delay was not linked to Jackson's health.

In a press conference from the United States broadcast over the Internet, AEG Live president Randy Phillips was asked about Jackson's health and said: "I would trade my body for his tomorrow. He's in fantastic shape."

While Jackson reigned as the "King of Pop" in the 1980s, his once-stellar career had been overshadowed by his colourful public behaviour, his startling physical transformation and multiple allegations of child abuse.

Jackson lived as a virtual recluse following his 2005 acquittal on charges including child molestation and plotting to kidnap his young accuser.

Despite his acquittal, the trial was a body blow from which the pop music superstar struggled to recover.

Four years later, Jackson is still worshipped by fans for revolutionizing music, dance and music videos at the peak of his success.

The attention however paid to him in recent years has been less flattering, focusing on apparent cosmetic surgery -- which he denies -- his baby dangling antics and a decade of swirling child abuse allegations.

Born on August 29, 1958, Jackson made his show business debut with four of his older brothers in the Jackson Five pop group, and went on to lead the stage clan with a piping soprano and dazzling dance moves.

By 1969, the group had signed a contract with Motown Records, becoming one of the last great acts to emerge from the legendary label.

The Jacksons produced seven platinum singles for Motown, selling over a million, and three multi-platinum albums, selling more than two million. They moved to CBS's Epic Records in 1976.

Despite the early success, Jackson was to recall those years as unhappy and lonely ones. Eventually the family act broke up, as Jackson went solo.

In 1979, Quincy Jones produced Jackson's first solo album for Epic, "Off the Wall," a huge disco-oriented success that sold 10 million copies.

They teamed up again in 1982 for what would be Jackson's breakthrough album as a composer and co-producer, "Thriller," which became the top-selling album of all time, with sales exceeding 41 million.

hoopz sex tape

Infamous celebrity sex tape broker Mr. ZZee, the mystery man behind other best selling celebrity sex tapes, is announcing he has acquired a hardcore sex video starring reality TV star Nikki Alexander aka Hoopz. Hoopz, star and winning contestant of VH1’s Flavor of Love and I Love Money hit shows, is shown having sex with her boyfriend, and all of the hardcore footage is on tape.

The high quality video features multiple positions, multiple camera angles, including hand-held and POV footage and even shows Hoopz doing a wild sideways cowgirl position that has to be seen to be believed! Screen shots and a video clip are available. The full video will be available for online pay-per-view and on DVD shortly.

Hoopz made a sex tape. Shocking, right? Hoopz (real name: Nikki Alexander) got her 15 minutes of fame as the winner of “Flavor of Love” where she won the heart of Flava Flav, who himself skyrocketed to newfound fame via a reality TV show. (He’s also a prominent member of hip-hop legends Public Enemy). With help from the distributor Mr. ZZee, Hoopz will extend her 15 minutes the only way someone with no real talent can: the sex tape.

Naturally, there are previews online that blur out the naughty stuff, but from what we can tell, it’s Hoopz getting slam dunked in a variety of positions. What else would a sex tape be? The advertisements for the video boast multiple angles, point of view and positions you have to see to believe. Sure, it says I have to see to believe...but in reality, I’d rather not.

Hoopz was the winning contestant on the VH1 reality show “I Love Money,” in addition to winning the Public Enemy sidekick’s heart on “Flava of Love.”

Our Take

What’s less surprising about this story? That someone with an extraneous “z” in their name made a sex tape, or that a contestant from “Flava of Love” made a sex tape. Considering Hoopz covers both areas, her foray into sex taping was inevitable. I guess the only surprise is that Hoopz beat fellow reality star New York to the punch. After all, what are we to expect from someone who won a show called “I Love Money.”?

Going the route of leaking a sex tape is typically a last ditch effort to get or remain famous. I’ve also been informed that New York did in fact make a sex tape. So, there’s that to look forward to. Which is nice. As long as we don’t have to see Flava Flav rocking out with his clock out, worse things could happen. I hope for her sake she’s at least getting paid for it. The last thing I’d want is a sweet girl like Hoopz to be taken advantage of. (Where else can she continually express her devotion to money?)

Reality Not So Real After All

If it's hard to believe that "reality" television is real, it's because it's not. Many don't realize reality television shows are scripted time zappers with directors telling their casts what to do, adding nothing to our lives. Not only is "reality" television not real, but it's becoming repetitive and boring.

Instead of showing the truth of daily life, reality television shows scripted cat fights, fake romances and faux friendships. It is unbelievable that so many people waste their time on these types of shows.

"We look at reality TV, which is billed as unscripted, and we know it is scripted," said Daniel Petrie Jr, president of the Writers Guild of America-West, to the Washington Post.

VH1 reality show "Flavor of Love" has gone through three seasons in search of love for rapper Flavor Flav of Public Enemy. However, at the end of each season his quest for love fails and the show is ripe for another season. If you find it a little weird that a famous rapper can't find the right girl after going through so many, it's because VH1 stage events with the girl he picks, that way the station can make more money with more seasons of the same show.

MTV's "The Hills" was one of the first shows to come out and reveal that they really do staged scenes and manipulate situations. "I hate to say we schedule their lives, but we definitely schedule out what we want to cover," executive producer Adam DiVello told TV Guide.

Audrina Patridge, one of the stars of "The Hills" confirms this, saying, "We don't have a set schedule. It depends on what's going on," according to Realityblurred.com.

With reality shows it is hard to tell whether the show they film is real or fake. Speculation has abounded that American Idol has fixed finalists, meaning finalists are chosen based on what the viewers would like, not on actual votes. According to the NY Daily News, an American Idol staffer for this season told a "group of people that the last four are going to be Danny Gokey, Lil Rounds, Adam Lambert and Alexis Grace."

Asked if this was opinion or fact, the staffer vehemently retorted, "Those are the people," expressing that it wasn't mere speculation.

We need to get back to watching good old scripted television, where the actors can actually change the way you think, rather than supporting these talentless people who are just filling up time slots. The next time you decide to watch a reality show ask yourself if it is really worth your time and try reading a book with real substance instead.

prancer 1 year ago from vh1 and what she blog on here myspace page

Prancer has a special message for all the Flavor of Love 3 viewers in the land: “I didn’t f*** Flavor Flav!” Below, she elaborates on that, explains the rap that got her in trouble and talks Heelys and hair.

How was your time on the show?

I had a great time. I met some great people. Met a great guy. It was all good.

It seemed like the primary reason you were eliminated was the kiss-and-tell thing. Any thoughts on that?

I didn’t tell, that’s the thing. I think it boiled down to Sinceer knowing that I was her biggest competition, so she made something up to try to get me out of there. Unfortunately worked, but I didn’t tell anybody anything. I didn’t f*** Flavor Flav! And that’s not what my damn rap meant, either. I had a nightcap with Flav, but we just slept. The “You know what I know” s*** meant anything I know that’s going on in the house, he knows. I told him everything. I thought I was gonna be the low-key snitch of the house. Anytime there was bulls*** or fakeness going on in the house, I put it on blast to Flav, not the other chicks. That’s all the line meant, but Sinceer turned it into something that it was not and got the other girls to go along. Sinceer knew what she was doing the whole time she was there. She had a great strategy. Kudos to you, Sinceer, but that ain’t what happened.

The girls had no choice but to make something up about me. I was genuine, classy, kindhearted, and entertaining, and they had nothing on me or against me and they knew Flav was feeling me. Their jealousy and insecurities got the best of them, so they had to get the biggest threat out, even if it meant making something up and lying to Flav. They all banded together and plotted against me

I saw on your MySpace that you’ve hosted events with Sinceer. You’ve made up since the show taped?

Yeah, we’ve squashed the beef since then. But I was pretty angry at first.

Was it disappointing that Flav kept Hotlanta over you?

Yeah! Who would want that? She’s a hot mess. But she was rocking my clock, so she should still feel like s***. He didn’t have a clock for her.

Even though you didn’t sleep with Flav, you did make out with him a lot. Were you really into him?

I was. Like I said, he’s a great guy. That was all genuine. That wasn’t an act, that wasn’t me trying to save my spot in the house. I was feeling him, I wanted to make out with him, so I did.

Was there physical attraction there?

I was physically attracted to him. I thought he was cute.

What did you think about the new girls being brought in? Was it a blow to your ego to be the first girl eliminated after they were brought in?

I figured one of us had to go, anyway, even if one of them didn’t come. I didn’t think he was going to get rid of them on the first day, so it wasn’t a surprise that he got rid of one of us.

What did you think of Flav naming you Prancer?

I thought it was cute. I wanted to be named “Vixen,” which is also a reindeer. That’s why I picked it, ‘cause I have doe eyes.

I thought you wanted to be named “Vixen,” because of the sexual connotation.

Well, it was partly because of my doe eyes, but a vixen is also a female fox, and I think I’m a sexy lady. That was my entire explanation.

You posted a blog on your MySpace regarding your hair. Care to elaborate?

I do not walk around with my hair looking like that on the regular. I get my hair done quite a few times a week, probably three times a week. My hair in real life is very curly, you can see that on my MySpace, too, and I don’t know how to straighten it. That was a problem, trying to do it myself. But I still looked a million times better than those other girls, even if my weave was f***ed up.

How has the response from the fans?

It’s been crazy. I went to Target the other day with a hat, sunglasses and my hair tucked in my jacket, and I still got recognized. Oh, and I got a free Supersizing at McDonalds that day. The perks of fame!

You rocked Heelys. Why?

I’m a big kid. I like Heelies. I was shopping for the show and I ran across them, so I bought them. Everybody was trying to talk crap because I had them, but Flav had them, too. They just didn’t show that. He only wore them one day. So, for everyone that was hating: I’m a big kid, he’s a big kid and that’s why I was attracted to him. He was rocking what I was rocking, so, eat that!

Which girls from the show do you keep in touch with?

I talk to Sinceer everyday. I talk to Rayna a lot. I talk to Seezinz and Bee-Ex a lot. I’m cool with just about everybody. I hear I have beef with Tik, but I don’t know why. It’s really random.

Was there any level of hurt from being eliminated?

I was really hurt, but at the same time, it was getting so crazy that I was relieved to be out of that. I’m not a drama queen. I don’t like to argue in real life, so I wasn’t about to sit on TV and argue with somebody about something stupid. They were just picking fights about nothing. They would try to step to me and argue, but they knew that I wasn’t having it. But none of it’s an act – those girls are psycho and they don’t like each other. Sinceer argues like that with people who aren’t on the show.

You’re a preacher’s daughter.

I am! My mom is a senior pastor of a church. She was really afraid of me going on the show. She thought I was going to do something to embarrass her, but she’s over it. She thinks it’s cool now. She’s having just as much fun with it as I am.

Are you interested in pursuing a career in the entertainment industry?

Going into the show, it wasn’t a thing of trying to advance my career, but since being on the show, I really enjoyed being on camera and being on TV. I’m going to try to do some acting. I’m moving to L.A. I just want to say to my fans, thank you so so much for all the love and support. I get so many messages and emails about how they love my personality, how I held it down in the mansion and how they are dying to see more of me. I just wanna tell them to keep their eyes open for me and I appreciate all the love! PART2 I AIN’T FUCK NO DAMN FLAVOR FLAV!!!!!
Man alright so let me explain this shit right fuckin now! I DID NOT SLEEP WITH FLAVOR FLAV and that aint what the fuck I meant in my rap….let me break it down “…keepin to myself in the room with asti, wanna get with you so we can do the nasty…”
What it meant was I was basically a loner in the house I was able to coexist with everyone I didn’t have any enemies but I didn’t have any friends really either I stayed in the astronaut room all the time by myself. I slept there I ate there I did me there by my damn self. Any woman wants to do the nasty with her man but Flav ain’t my man but if it got to that point ok lets do the damn thang but fact is he ain’t my man and we ain’t do shit.
It rhymed and I thought it was cute….now the “You know what I know” Everyone looked at me as the low-key snitch of the house I was able to coexist with them chicks so I knew what was goin on with everybody and used it to my advantage so anything I knew about Flav knew about cuz I was always runnin and tellin him something so thats what the “you know what i know” meant….they don’t even show me explaining to him what the shit meant….but what the fuck ever y’all have seen me on the show I’m a classy lady….
Me and Sinceer are very cool now (Love ya bitch) but she is the one who planted that seed to the other girls….She had a great strategy for the show and it worked (unfortunately this go round against me)…If I’m not the girl for Flav thats fine I ain’t tryna keep no man that don’t wanna be kept I just hope he finds exactly what he’s looking for…I’m not mad at him I still have love for Flav he’s an amazing guy…
I’m not mad at Sinceer she knew I was big time competition for her and she needed my ass outta there so she did what she had to do….he had my clock so obviously he wanted me there…

Peace out homies XOXO

VH1's Programming Lineage: Incest at its Juiciest

"Tierney, how can you watch that garbage?" my mom says to me every time she catches me watching VH1. Garbage though it may be, VH1 celebrity reality programming. Celibreality as it's so cleverly called, is entertaining, hilarious and as addictive as Diet Coke and Sour Patch Kids. And for all us addicts out there, it's a genre that has begat offspring like an Old Testament prophet.

Surreal Life is the grand patriarch, the Abraham, if you will. The show premiered in 2003. As a twist on the MTV's reality television break through Real World, VH1 put a group of D-List celebrities in a house and taped what ensued. Veterans include that guy who sang "Ice Ice Baby" (Vanilla Ice), that guy who sings "Hammertime" (MC Hammer), that crazy Christian Lady (Tammy Faye), that porn guy (Ron Jeremy), that girl from American Idol (Ryan Starr), that guy from the Brady Bunch (Christopher Knight), that bitchy old model (Janice Dickinson), that motorcycle guy married to Pink (Cary Hart) and that guy who yells (Flava Flav). Because all these people are trainwrecks on their own, putting them all together is an epic catastrophe of Hurricane Katrina-sized porportions. And it makes for some great television.

VH1 figured out pretty quick that this cheaply made crap actually brought in a fair amount of viewers and money. It gave way to spin-offs as quickly as the octo-mom produced children. First came "Strange Love" which recorded the relationship between Flava Flav and Brigitte Nielsen (a romance sparked on the set of Surreal Life). When they broke up, we got Flava of Love, a Bachelor-like competition for Flav's heart. The show resulted in three seasons and zero successful relationships. New York, a runner up contestent on Flavor of Love got her own similiar competition spin off, I Love New York, which contributed to the spinoff New York Goes to Hollywood, A Real Chance at Love and New York Goes to Work. Flava of Love also inspired Charm School and Rock of Love, featuring 80s rocker Bret Michaels. Contestants who did not win his heart got their own spin-offs as well, with Trophy Wife and Daisy of Love. The Love doesn't stop there; there is also I Love Money and For the Love of Ray J. Let's not forget the other Surreal Life particpant-relationship-oriented show, My Fair Brady, starring Christopher Knight. If you thought your Bib Lit genealogies were complicated, try climbing this family tree.

Though you may not be familiar with what these celebrities did in the first place to earn their spots on a celebreality show, you will get to know their personalities, their daily living habits and their favorite pick up lines. If reality television makes normal people famous, then celebreality makes famous people normal (in the loosest definition of the term). However, things get a little sticky when you are trying to keep straight which of the reoccuring characters were "famous" before the show, and which only got famous by sleeping with the "famous" ones.

When you think about it, these shows are perfect for the typical college student. They are not compelling enough to derail your studies (see: Lost). Yet, they're easy enough to jump into when you have some free time. Because most of the characters have maturity levels of fourth graders, a fourth grader could easily understand the narrative arches (again see: Lost). Due to both its melt-downs and its grammar, celebreality makes for a nice distraction from the rigorous Georgetown academics, as well as the larger, grave issues in the world today. So, mom, that is how I can watch that garbage and how I will continue to watch that garbage, as long as VH1 keeps giving it to me. Judging by the fertility we've seen thus far, I'd say the Cornucopia of Celebreailty is only getting bigger.

Hogan Turned Down 'Rock of Love' Show

Hulk Hogan
Getty Images
(April 3) -- Hulk Hogan is an absolute force to be reckoned with. Still stronger and cooler than you (or us) at the age of 55, the wrestling legend known to the government as Terry Bollea is being featured in the amazing-looking new video game 'Legends of Wrestlemania,' and as PopEater just learned out, was also supposed to wrestle at Wrestlemania this weekend. Sadly, a back injury is keeping Hulkamania from running wild on John Cena in the ring, but trust us -- Hulk is still as fiesty as ever, as you'll see in PopEater's exclusive chat with him. He chats about everything from what Nick is up to post-jail, who should play Hulk in a biopic, what advice he has for Billy Ray Cyrus about Miley and how he turned down a VH1 dating show. So, the 'Legends of Wrestlemania' game looks awesome (see a trailer here). Did you have any input on the character's looks or moves?
"No, I didn't. They pretty much have the Hulk Hogan look down to a science. I'm amazed how good the stuff looks and how lifelike it is."
Will you be at Wrestlemania this weekend?
"You know what, I was supposed to wrestle John Cena for the title, and about four weeks ago I had back surgery. Vince and I were talking about how much involvement I wanted to have in Wrestlemania, and if I wanted to keep wrestling, and out of nowhere my back just got really crazy. I went in for an MRI and I had to have some emergency surgery that threw me out of the game. I was kind of flipped out about it, I thought I'd be the main event this year."
Is everything OK?
"Yeah, they just put a band aid on it. The real surgery, they put the steel rods and the screws and cages in, so I diverted that for now so I can have a little bit of a grace period with this surgery. All that fake wrestling stuff, you know?"
Speaking of fake wrestling, did you think Mickey Rourke's portrayal of the life in 'The Wrestler' was fair?
"I thought it was fair but it was a one-dimensional look at just one area of the wrestling pie. I know a bunch of guys that are past their prime that are wrestling high schools on the weekend. They do the blade jobs and the hardcore stuff ... it's better now since they used to give $25 to do it and now you get $400 or $500, but you know ... it was a very fair snapshot of one teeny tiny segment of the wrestling community. It's pretty realistic."
What do you think the chances of Mickey Rourke making a quick cameo to throw down with Chris Jericho are?
"None if he values his acting career."
Staying on the movies and Hollywood, The Rock and John Cena have made the transition from wrestlers to movie stars. How does it feel to know that you were the pioneer of that thanks to 'Rocky' and other movies?
"Well, what's great is the wrestling family being so cross-promotional friendly. When I did 'Rocky' I got fired for doing it. The people that own it realize that if you do other forms of entertainment such as a TV series or a movie, it makes you a bigger star. When I did a movie or a special, I was almost banned from the wrestling community."
Because they didn't want you doing outside ventures?
"Well that and the mindset of the wrestling business was protect the business at all costs, don't ever break the unwritten code of ethics, silence and morals and lifestyle that they had. For a wrestler to dabble with actors was taboo."
Even though it was essentially part of your job, to be an actor?
"I guess. An actor acts. When I do something, I live it vicariously during that moment. It's almost like an out of body experience for me. I've never done anything except zone into that Hulk Hogan zone and then fly with it. If you told me to act, I probably wouldn't do it very well. I've never had acting lessons in my life, so if I'm acting, you'd have to be the judge."
Should a Hulk Hogan biography film get made, who's your choice to play you?
"Oh boy, if they do a biography, good God. If they ever told the true story I don't think anyone would believe it. Let me think, who could play that part ... I'm not familiar enough with anybody. If it's just an actor portraying a part, cosmetically t hey'd have to get someone a little larger than life."
Maybe Brad Pitt could beef up for it?
"Hey, there you go!"
Do you feel like 'Hogan Knows Best' has opened up a vulnerability to your persona?
"Definitely. Whenever you bring cameras in the house it changes everything. People now know me more as a husband and a father having the same trials and tribulations as everybody. I think it made me more tangible and made people realize this whole thing wasn't a superhero that went into a closet at night and waited for someone to turn the switch back on. I think it made people think 'Oh my gosh.'"
Was there any hesitance to bring Brooke and Nick into the reality world?
"No, Nick was pretty much heading into his precision driving career, and Brooke has been doing music industry work since she was like 13 ... so they were banging on the door on their own already, so when the opportunity arose to do the 1 hour special to help open up the doors on their careers, we were all for it."
How's everything going with Nick and his racing?
"That's all on hold. Nick is regrouping and has moved to Los Angeles and is going to different acting schools and working with a couple companies doing his internship, and getting back in the groove and trying to shake off this lynch mob media assault that's chased him around for a year. He's getting his feet back under him and a lot of positive stuff from a lot of positive people. It's been a crazy year for all of us."
Because of all the drama this past year, have you questioned yourself as to whether 'Hogan Knows Best' and putting your family into the media eye was worth it?
"It's hard to say. There really are no mistakes, everything happens for a reason. It's alright already man, it's in God's hands so I'm not going to question the path. We did what we thought was right at the time. I guess we can second guess your last three girlfriends if we want, but you probably had fun at the time."
That's actually a great segway into my next question. You're one of the bigger stars on VH1 along with Brett Michaels. If they asked, would you do a 'Rock of Love type dating show?
"They already have. I passed on it. That's not my deal brother. It'd have to be 'Hulk Hogan: 55 and Still Alive on Viagra' or something."
Sounds like it would get monster ratings.
"Ha! I'm sure!"
Is there another celebrity dad with famous kids out there that you feel you can really relate with whether you know him or not?
"The only one I can really probably say 'Be careful' and 'Be aware of your surroundings' is Billy Ray Cyrus. They're on such a role right now, and there have been a few stutter steps along the way. Just be reaaaal aware of everything along the way so you don't get caught off guard. Things come at you so fast you don't even see them hit you."
Brooke seems to be using Twitter pretty frequently, talking about recession songs and so forth. Are you familiar with the Twitter world?
"Not really. Brooke kinda showed me what was going on, and to me it's all Greek."
To close things out: Have you ever heard or read a tabloid rumor about yourself or a family member that was so insane it made you laugh?
"Well, I don't read the tabloids or the newspaper because it's all pretty much negative haters. But I do look at the pictures. I love looking at the pictures, looking at my son or my daughter or my ex-wife Linda. I just like to see pictures, who's hanging out with who. Even before I went down this positive road I'm going, many years ago I was in the grocery store pushing a cart down the aisle and I saw The National Enquirer, and it said "Hulk Hogan Has Massive Heart Attack." I looked at the headlines, looked at Linda, looked down at my chest and said "Hmmm, how come I didn't know about that?' Once I saw that, I realized there wasn't any merit to this stuff. Then I decided to take a path different than the one many expected me to go down. I choose not to be a part of that negative stuff, because if you are, you just attract more of it into your life."
Do you think the media does it simply because it gets people interested?
"I think it draws people's attention, they'll do whatever to make a buck in these times. If they were making a lot of money about people saving animals, they'd be writing about that. But I don't think the mindset of the public mentality wants that. They'd rather see the drama and find out if OctoMom has piercings below the waistline because that'll probably sell more copies."
Well, I guess I'm in the minority because I don't want to see that, but maybe I'm in the minority.
"Ha! That's cool brother."
