I Love Money 3 Cancelled After Jenkins Death

I Love Money 3 has been cancelled by VH1, so they said in a statement.

The popular show, which has made it to its third season on the TV channel, has officially been cancelled by the network after the events of this weekend. As most of you will know, Ryan Jenkins hung himself aged 32. He’d stood accused of killing his wife, Jasmine Fiore, 28, whom he’d married after knowing her only two days.

Jenkins had appeared on two shows for VH1, both of which were set to air this year. Firstly, there was Megan Wants a Millionaire, which was pulled after fans had started getting into the show. Then there’s the upcoming show, I Love Money 3. The show really had to be pulled for reasons of taste. It would have gotten them views like WHAT, but it also would have been creepy as heck to have to watch Jenkins on the show week after week.

Vh1 has issued the following statement today: “We’re sad to announce that the fate of both Megan Wants a Millionaire and I Love Money 3 have been determined: both have been canceled and will not make it to air.”

From what I heard on TMZ Live, Jenkins was featured heavily on I Love Money 3 and was often heard talking about Fiore and his love for her. That would have made it double creepy. Megan Wants… being cancelled was a good call. I Love Money 3 being pulled is even better, as it shows that unlike a lot of networks, VH1 have at least some class and for now are letting the police do their job and letting the families have a little more peace than they would otherwise.
